The Speed 55 DB features a new rim profile that is the next step in the search for the best aerodynamic performance.This model is designed for demanding athletes and racers. To improve rolling resistance (and ultimately speed), FULCRUM designed the wheels using 2-WAY FIT. The patented manufacturing process of carbon rims with no holes in the center channel provides a stronger, stiffer construction that can withstand the most extreme racing conditions.
The 19mm inner rim follows the latest trends in the use of wider rims to further improve aerodynamics. Data has been validated through intensive testing and wind tunnel trials..making it easier to overcome air resistance. The profile of the SPEED 55 DB rim was derived from the galuska version used by World Tour teams. But it’s not just aerodynamics that make the SPEED range stand out.
